Founder/Owner Blake Brister started Hair Revival Studio on January 11, 2015 with a grand opening at our previous location in highland park. This was a dream that was funded by an anonymous contribution and help from many people and friends, including Melissa Pesta from Bar-build, Jerome Mendoza (the owner of the current Saint Anita Barber Shop) from the upper room church community. Some who still work at Hair Revival Studio today have come to receive support from across the hairdressing community.
Hair Revival Studio
Blake turned the wheels and got a lot of support from a wonderful pair of friends Ej and Joelle Ybarbo. Blake and Ej were in a partnership for about 5 years before they decided to move forward with the purchase agreement of the Ejs property and remain good friends to this day. Currently, Hair Revival Studio has a place in the Design District, Blake has put Zsanae and Michael in leadership roles at the salon to help keep the business and culture strong while continuing to grow.
Hair Revival Hair Salon
There is a big vision for the Hair Revival Studio brand to expand to more salon locations and open a hair school that teaches all hair textures and also celebrates all hair cultures. Our mission is simple, to tell the world that they are beautiful, and to help all people express their inner beauty with their outer beauty through excellent hair consultations and services. The story of the revival of the hair is rich in relationships and supernatural encounters. Blake is trying to put together an updated video, deciphering all the details for those who want to hear it.
